ENGLISH SPEAKING AND WRITING FOR SMAN1 AND SMA PLUS DARUSSALAM CIAMIS STUDENTS 0F 2011

A. SPEAKING 

Each partisipant may choose 1 of the following(Telling Story, Speech, Play)

1. Telling Story

• Folk Story
• Duration: 3-4 minutes
• Criterion: (Pronunciation, Fluency, Field, Expression/gesture, the use of Medias, Time Duration)

2. Speech

• Genre : Discussion/Exposition
• Duration 3-4 minutes
• Marking Criteria : Pronunciation, Fluency, Field, Expression/ Eye contact/Public Speaking ability, Time duration)

 3. Play

• Theme:  All themes but 'Love'(Love is not allowed)
• Duration: 3 X member amount: Example( It's aroud 15 minutes for a group with 5 members)
• Marking Criterion: Pronunciation, Fluency, Field, Expression/ Acting ability, Time duration, Unity)

B. WRITING

Developing a paragraph of argumentative(Exposition/ Discussion)

• Theme will be given at the time(before the test)
• Length of Paragraph: 100-150 words
• Duration : 60 minutes
• Criterion:
• The way of expressing opinion/ argumentative writing (Main Idea- Supporting Idea/Elaboration)
• Amount of words
• Relevancies: Theme/field, grammatical use
• Phisical Appearance: clearance/cleanlines and way of arranging words
